Fragrant Desi Rose Petals, 1 kg

Description

Fragrant Desi Rose Petals, 1 kg: Diwali Rose Petals in Bangalore

These Diwali rose petals in Bangalore are fresh, fragrant petals from desi (country) roses, sold by the kilo for rangoli, urli and festive decor. Their deep red colour, often touched with gold at the base, and their natural sweet scent bring the true feel of an Indian festival into your home.

Desi roses are smaller and far more fragrant than the long-stemmed roses used in bouquets, which is why they have always been the first choice for puja, rangoli and floating urlis. One kilo gives you a generous amount to work with, enough to fill an urli, outline a rangoli and still have petals left to scatter at the entrance or around the diyas.

Fragrant Petals for Rangoli and Urli Decor

Use the petals to fill in or outline your Diwali rangoli, float them in a brass or glass urli with a few tealights, or scatter them along the steps and doorway to welcome guests. They also work beautifully around the mandir for Lakshmi Puja and on the dining table for a festive dinner. Looking for a bowl to float them in? See our decorative urlis in the Diwali gifting collection, or pair the petals with our Diwali table decoration pieces.

The petals are freshly separated at our studio in HSR Layout close to dispatch, so they reach you soft and fragrant. Keeping Your Petals Fresh

Rose petals are at their best on the day they arrive. If you are not using them straight away, keep them in a cool place, loosely covered with a damp cloth, and away from direct sunlight and fans. For urlis, add the petals to cool water shortly before guests arrive so they float fresh and full. Iowa State University Extension has a helpful guide on how to care for cut flowers.
