Description
Carnation Mirror Diwali Centrepiece with Lantern & Candle: Diwali Carnation Centrepiece in Bangalore
This Diwali carnation centrepiece in Bangalore pairs dark pink carnations and soft baby’s breath in a clear glass vase with a round mirror base, a small gold metal lantern and a rose-shaped scented candle. The mirror catches the light from every side, so the flowers, lantern and candle are doubled in its reflection and the whole piece glows a little brighter once the lamps are lit for the evening.
It comes as one complete set of four pieces: the carnation and baby’s breath arrangement in its vase, the 10 inch mirror base, the lantern and the candle. Fresh fern leaves are tucked around the base to finish the look. Everything arrives ready to set down, so there is no styling left to do on a busy festival day.
Dark Pink Carnations and Baby’s Breath
Carnations are one of the hardiest cut flowers you can put on a table. Their ruffled petals hold their shape for days, and the deep pink shade sits beautifully against brass, wood and the warm light of diyas. We loosen clouds of baby’s breath through the carnations so the arrangement looks airy rather than packed, and tie the glass vase with a simple jute bow. The finished piece stands about 8-9 inches tall, low enough for people to see and talk across it on a dining table.
A Mirror Base, Lantern and Rose Candle
The round mirror base is what turns a vase of flowers into proper Diwali table decor. It sets a clear edge around the arrangement and bounces light back up into the petals. Beside the vase sits a 3 inch gold metal lantern with cut-out jaali work, and a white rose-shaped scented candle rests on the fern leaves. Together they give you flowers, a little sparkle and a soft fragrance in one tidy footprint.
Set it in the middle of the dining table for a Diwali dinner, on a console or sideboard where guests walk in, in the foyer, or near the pooja space. Once the flowers are done, the mirror, lantern and vase can go back into your festive decor box for next year. You can see our other Diwali table decoration pieces in the same collection.
Please note: One set is included per order. The first photo shows two sets on a long table for reference only.
Delivery Across Bangalore
Each set is arranged by hand at our studio in HSR Layout, and the carnations go into the vase only after we have checked every stem. Scheduled and free delivery is available across Bangalore. Choose a slot that gives us at least 6-8 working hours after you place your order, so the flowers reach you fresh and ready for the evening. For more of our work, see our flower delivery in Bangalore.
Keeping Your Centrepiece Fresh
Keep the vase topped up with clean water and change it every 1-2 days, giving the carnation stems a small fresh cut each time so they keep drinking. Baby’s breath dries out quickly in a warm room, so keep the arrangement away from direct sunlight, heaters and ceiling fans. The fern leaves on the mirror can be misted lightly to keep them green. Iowa State University Extension has a helpful guide on how to care for cut flowers. If you light the rose candle, keep it clear of the fern, petals and anything that can catch, and never leave it burning unattended.
What’s Included: 1 dark pink carnation and baby’s breath arrangement in a glass vase with jute bow, 1 round mirror base (10 inch diameter), 1 gold metal lantern (3 inch height), 1 rose-shaped scented candle, and fresh fern leaves.
