Lakshmi Puja Lotus Arrangement For Diwali

Description

Lakshmi Puja Lotus Arrangement for Diwali: Lotus Flowers for Lakshmi Puja in Bangalore

These lotus flowers for Lakshmi Puja in Bangalore bring the goddess’s own flower into your home on Diwali. Sixteen pink lotus buds are gathered into a full, rounded cluster and nestled in a 6 inch cane basket, with soft baby’s breath tucked around them like a cloud. It arrives ready to set beside the idol, on the puja thali stand or at the centre of your festive table.

The lotus has always been linked to Goddess Lakshmi, who is shown seated on a lotus and holding one in her hand, and it is one of the most sought-after flowers on Diwali night. Instead of loose buds that need arranging at the last minute, this piece gives you a finished lotus arrangement that looks beautiful through the evening puja and the celebrations that follow.

Sixteen Pink Lotus Buds for Diwali

Each lotus bud is chosen for a full shape and a fresh pink colour, from deep rose at the tips to a softer blush at the base. Placed close together, the sixteen buds form a lotus-like crown of their own, and the baby’s breath around the edge lightens the look and frames it neatly. The cane basket keeps everything natural and simple, in keeping with the spirit of the puja.

Set it near the mandir, in front of the Lakshmi idol, at the entrance beside the rangoli, or as a centrepiece on the dining table when family gathers. It also makes a meaningful Diwali gift when visiting someone on the day of the festival. Explore our other Diwali table decoration pieces and the full Diwali gifting collection.

About the lotus: Lotus is a delicate, natural flower that comes straight from the pond, so each bud carries its own small marks and soft edges on the outer petals. This natural character is part of its charm and does not affect its beauty or freshness.

Keeping Your Lotus Fresh

Lotus is at its most beautiful on the day it arrives. Lightly mist the buds and baby’s breath with water, keep the basket in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, heat, fans and lit diyas, and avoid touching the petals too often, as they bruise easily. Iowa State University Extension has a helpful guide on how to care for cut flowers.
