This is a red rose centrepiece in Bangalore, built around rich red roses and set in a handwoven coconut leaf basket. Keeping it fresh: The floral sponge holds water, so there is no vase to refill. Every 1 to 2 days, gently pour or spray a little water onto the sponge to keep it moist. Keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, heaters and fans, and pinch off any rose petals that brown at the edges to keep it looking neat.
