Don’t shatter the book for 10 to 15 days. You will get perfectly pressed dry flowers from your flower bouquet. You can replace it with a glass frame or make a bookmark. It is one of the simplest ways to preserve flowers without spending any penny, but it takes a little time.

2. Flowers that are Air Dried:

Air drying the flowers by hanging the bouquets upside down is the traditional technique to dry and preserve flowers.

Take the flowers out of the bouquet and collect flowers by making a little pack, and tie the steam with a rubber band or thread. Hang it inverted in a dry, room temperature, and ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Leave it hanging for a week or more, and you will notice the difference between fresh flowers turning into dry classic touch flowers.

Dry the flowers in any one of the above methods completely. Epoxy resin and moulds are available at the local markets too. We can mold it into a paperweight, bookends, letters, coasters, or any shape. Pour the resin into the mould till half and place the flowers in the fluid. Fill the rest above the arranged flower and let it dry.

Leave the mould off for some time. You get to use the stuff with the memories of the flowers. The flowers from the flower bouquet can be stored for a longer period of time without being damaged by employing this method.

4. Flowers that Silica gel

Silica gel is not a gel; it is available in sand or crystals that absorb moisture from the surface and keep flowers dry for years. It is one of the most affordable methods of flower preservation. In an air-tight container, make the silica gel as a basis, then place the flowers in the silicon sand and fill the gel. Fill and seal the entire container.

After completing the process, wait a week before removing it and spraying it with hairspray to freeze it.

5. Dipped-in wax flowers:

Dipping flowers in wax is not a permanent way of preservation. It just extends the life of the flowers for six months. These flowers preserve their original colour and shape. To preserve the flower bouquet, you need paraffin wax and a saucepan.
